Parade of Homes

The 2016 Lancaster/Lebanon Parade of Homes, presented by the Builder Industry Association (BIA) of Lancaster County, is the perfect opportunity to become more familiar with the current housing trends in your area to better serve your clients. The popular Parade will take place from Saturday, June 11 through Sunday, June 19.

The 2016 Parade of Homes features 41 new homes by more than 20 local homebuilders. Local builder, Keystone Custom Homes is excited to once again be participating in this popular event after being awarded “Best in Show” in two categories last year.

Visitors may be asked to remove their shoes in some of the homes, so socks or stockings are required, while some builders may require the use of shoe coverings, which will be provided. Children are welcome, but must be closely supervised.

Tour hours are between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.  It is suggested to tour during the week as much as possible to help alleviate weekend foot traffic.

The Lancaster/Lebanon Parade of Homes website makes it easy to plan your tours by allowing guests to browse participating homes by price range, builder or area. If you visit the site on your mobile device, you can even map out your day and get instant directions to each home. For added convenience, icons are also being incorporated on individual home templates to designate an “Easy Living Community”, “First Floor Living” and more.

As a PA Realtor, this is the perfect opportunity to get clients out and looking at properties with you, or to simply better acquaint yourself with current trends to better serve your future clients.
